HENRY AND HANK Kingi are Hollywood royalty, a father-son stunt-performing franchise with more than 500 screen credits between them. Henry, 80, who is of Native American, Black, Japanese, and European descent, is a stunt-driving master who has steered the action in just about everything: Live and Let Die, The Dukes of Hazzard, Bad Boys 2, the Fast & Furious franchise, you name it. Meanwhile, Hank, 54, has gone from doubling for Jason Scott Lee in The Jungle Book to coordinating stunts in Dune: Part Two. Ahead of the forthcoming documentary Painted Down: The Ernie Robinson Story, directed by Nonie L. Robinson, about the Black Stuntmen’s Association, the father-and-son team reflect on their journey.
