David McCoy Barrett is a television director and producer born in Bishop, California. Grandson to Dave and Roma McCoy, founders of the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Barrett grew up immersed in the lifestyle of extreme sports. He began his career in stunt work and quickly transitioned to stunt coordinating at the age of twenty-five. Since his directorial debut, Barrett has directed over 79 episodes of television and produced multiple series and films. In 2012, he directed his first feature film Fire With Fire starring Josh Duhamel, Rosario Dawson, Bruce Willis and Vincent D’onofrio.
