Short Film: Waterman Brian Keaulana, member of Stunts Unlimited
A #TowingAdventure short film presented by B&W Trailer Hitches
All it takes is a split second. And, in that moment, you can find yourself in the grasp of mother nature–swept into the shifting surge of the ocean tide.
Born in Hawaii and raised on the water near Makaha Beach, Brian Keaulana was inspired by his father and the traditions of his ancestors to be a true Hawaiian Waterman. In honor of this heritage, Brian strove to better understand every facet of the ocean–learning to appreciate the balance between the marvel and the risk presented by the coastal waters around his home. Today, he’s built his life & career around it. Sharing his knowledge and his skills, Brian has helped develop and promote better water safety practices and tools, now utilized throughout the water sport community and worldwide. Having earned recognition as a respected water safety advisor, Brian is now one of the most influential water rescue specialists out there. He is also a well known stuntman and stunt coordinator who has worked on many major motion pictures such as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Point Break, and Jurassic World, to name just a few.
